Cleaver, you will ascend the Muir Snowfield relatively early on the first
day. The view back towards Adams and St.
Helens can be great. Ellie and I did this part of the climb very early
in the morning to avoid the crowds and the heat. | A view up the Ingrham
Glacier from the top of the Disappointment Cleaver. This place can be a
bottleneck if there are a lot of climbers.
