New York, New York, A Wonderful Town

Hanging out on the fire escape of my building at 123rd and Broadway in Harlem, USA. What a place to be!

Before leaving the city for Boise, my best friend, Kevin Connelly and I toured the city to take some tourist and nostalgia shots. Here we are having a couple of beers in the basement of the former World Trade Center.

Since we lived in the same building, Kevin, me and our buddies spent countless hours together during music school. Dueling drum duets in this case. Being the drummer, Kevin once again ridicules me to the delight of everyone.

Our buddy and aspiring photographer (on this night), David Wonsey, percussionist extrodinaire.

Had many great musical experiences while in NYC. Playing 1st on the Rite of Spring next to Phil Smith, Principal with the NY Phil, had to be one of the cooler ones. I can't remember everyone's name in the photo but it's Lloyd Ellis on the left. Gary Grimaldi and Shara Sand on bone.
